RETURN

an online woman's gathering to prepare for the High Holy Days 5785

Each year in the month of Elul, the Jewish calendar invites us to do an accounting of our souls.

What has happened this past year?
Am I living the life I want to live?
Whom in my life do I need to forgive and ask forgiveness?
Who will I be in the year to come?

In order to be prepared for Rosh HaShannah and Yom Kippur, we must dive deep into our minds, hearts, and bodies.

Join us on this guided reflection journey as we collectively review the past year and recalibrate for the year to come.

What's included?

Opening and Closing Virtual Circles

At the start of the week we'll gather to open the container and set the themes of our reflection work. At the end of the week we'll hold space for community sharing and ritual to take us into the High Holy Days.

Emma Kahle

@JewishFertilityProject

Emma is a daughter, sister, wife, Jewish fertility coach, regenerative farmer, homesteader, climate scientist, backcountry adventurer, frisbee player, and an endlessly curious student of Earth School (aka life). She is inspired by her ancestors to weave meaning from Jewish spirituality and cultivate connection in our world. She lives on a farm on a small island in Washington State where she enjoys milking goats and gardening with bare feet.

Leila Achtoun

Leila is a lover of nature, animals and other human beings. She grew up in a small town in Northern California and still lives there seasonally, teaching in the schools she used to attend as a student. She also runs a women’s health business, teaching women all over the world how to cultivate fullness and wellbeing. Her ancestors hail from all three of the Abrahamic faiths and have taught her much about what it means to be connected to the source, whatever that may be.

FAQs

Can I participate if I can't attend the live calls?

Yes! We will be live in the WhatsApp group throughout the week going through the workbook together (or feel free to go at your own pace!). The live calls will be recorded and accessible through the end of Yom Kippur.

Do I need to be Jewish or have a certain level of knowledge?

No. This experience is open to all women regardless of religious affiliation or familiarity with Judaism. The program is designed to meet you where you are at and be accessible to all.

Is there a certain amount of time I need to commit?

No. This experience is designed to be flexible to meet your schedule and needs. Join us for the live calls if you can, drop into the WhatApp group as you'd like through the week, work through the workbook as you feel called.
